Reindeer are not dangerous, but they do have a will of their own. Reindeer are half wild animals, half domesticated and used to humans. Your guide will tell you how to talk to and approach them safely.
Reindeer are vegetarian animals – the diet includes clean food found in nature, such as leaves, grass and berries. In the winter, most of them are staying close to their owners’ homes where they are fed with dried grass, leaves and nutrients.
